Blanket from Auschwitz

One wool blanket would be used to keep 5 people warm as bodies were huddled together in wooden barracks. Often prisoners would smoke cigarettes under the blanket to trap the heat it produced to keep warm. This would lead to cigarette burns on the blanket.
